NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. This Sweepstakes is sponsored by VB Imports, Old Brookville, NY 11545 (the “Sponsor”).
TO ENTER. Sweepstakes participation is open only to legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia (except the States of Utah) who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry. The “Fontana Candida Experience Rome” Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) begins 12:01 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) on September 1, 2015 and ends 11:59 PM ET on December 31, 2015 (“Entry Period”). Limit, one entry, per Facebook user, per day.
To enter the sweeps, visit http://www.facebook.com/FontanaCandida, and complete the online entry form for a chance to win a trip to Rome. Four (4) second prize winners will each receive (1) $100 gift card. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of Second Prizes are $400. ARV of all prizes is $5,400, but actual final value of trip may vary based on point of departure and ticket availability at time of purchase.
One bonus entry awarded every time a friend enters: After each entry, the original entrant has the choice to share the sweepstakes with friends via the following buttons at the bottom of the page: “Post to your wall” / “Send invite requests” or “Share on Twitter”. One (1) bonus entry will be awarded to the original entrant every time a “friend” enters via a shared link.
All entries must be received by 11:59 PM ET December 31, 2015. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules, and the decision of the Sponsor and judges, which shall be final and binding in all respects.
PRIZES. One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded. Grand Prize winner will receive a three (3) night trip for two (2) people to Rome, Italy. The trip includes roundtrip economy-class airfare for two (2) to Rome, Italy from major airport nearest winner’s residence, three (3) nights hotel accommodations (1 room, double occupancy), one (1) $250 gift card for spending money and a paid trip to tour Fontana Candida winery in the suburbs of Rome. Trip must be taken by December 31, 2016.
Grand Prize winner and guest must travel together on the same itinerary. Winner is solely responsible for all other expenses not specified herein, including but not limited to, ground transportation to/from airports, meals, fuel, gratuities, and hotel incidentals. Accommodation restrictions and blackout dates may apply. All travel dates and arrangements are subject to change, availability and Sponsor’s approval. Once travel is booked, no changes or cancellations will be accepted and no extensions or exceptions apply. Winner and companion must present valid identification prior to ticketing. Airline carrier’s regulations apply. Trip may not be combined with any other offer and travel may not qualify for frequent flyer miles. Other restrictions may apply. Winner’s guest must be at least 21 years of age. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of Grand Prize is $5,000 but actual final value of trip may vary based on point of departure and ticket availability at time of purchase. The Grand Prize winner may opt to have a cash payout of $5,000 in lieu of trip to Rome.
RANDOM DRAWING Second Prize winners will be selected via a random drawing by the Sponsor to be conducted once every month after the campaign start date until December 31, 2015. The Grand Prize winner will be selected via a random drawing by the Sponsor to be conducted on or near January 15, 2016.
Grand Prize and Second Prize winners will be notified by an electronic message within ten (10) days of the selection. Grand prize winners will be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and a liability/publicity release within ten (10) days of notification prior to prize being awarded. In the event of non-compliance with any of these requirements, Prize winners will be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected. Except where prohibited, acceptance of any and all prizes constitutes consent by the winner to the use of his/her name, voice, picture, likeness and biographical data for advertising and promotional purposes without any additional compensation. By participation, all entrants release VB imports (“Sponsor”), and its subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, employees, directors, and agents, including advertising agencies, from any and all injury, loss, or damage caused or claimed to be caused by your participation in the sweepstakes and/or acceptance, awarding, receipt, use and/or misuse of the prize. In addition, all entrants release VB Imports and its subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, employees, directors, and agents, including advertising agencies, and all others associated with the development and execution of this Sweepstakes from any such liability and agree that these entities are in no manner responsible for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, expressed, or implied, in fact or in law, relating to the promotion and/or prize.
Winners are responsible for any and all federal, state and local taxes or assessments and any person winning over $600 in prizes will receive an IRS Form W-2G from Sponsor for the calendar year in which the prize is awarded. Limit one prize winner per eligible household. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
In the event of any dispute concerning the identity of any entrant of an online entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the natural person who is the authorized holder of the transmitting Facebook account. Sponsor and its agencies are not responsible for notifications that are misdirected because of email addresses that are no longer correct, or for any other reason beyond the control of the Sponsor. Return of any prize notification as “undeliverable” will result in disqualification. If for any reason any prize is not claimed or a winner is disqualified, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected from among all eligible entries received during the Entry Period.
GENERAL RULES. Employees of VB Imports, their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising, promotion or fulfillment agencies, and any of their affiliated companies, agents, assigns and suppliers, licensed affiliate distributors and/or licensed retailers and immediate families and members of household (whether or not related) are not eligible to enter or win. Any individuals (including but not limited to employees, consultants, independent contractors, and interns) who have, within the past six (6) months, performed services for VB Imports, or any organizations responsible for sponsoring, fulfilling, administering, advertising or promoting the Sweepstakes or supplying the prize, and/or their respective parent, subsidiary, affiliated and successor companies, and immediate family and household members of such individuals, are not eligible to enter or win. “Immediate family members” shall mean parents, step-parents, children, step-children, siblings, step-siblings, or spouses. “Household members” shall mean people who share the same residence at least three months a year.
By acceptance of prize, winner grants permission to the Sponsor and its agencies to use the winner’s name, city, state, and likeness for purposes of advertising, promotions, and trade without further compensation, except where prohibited by law. By entering, participants hereby agree to release, discharge and hold harmless VB Imports, their parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies, advertising and promotional agencies and prize suppliers and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, attorneys and representatives (collectively, the “Sweepstakes Entities”) from any and all injuries, loss, claims or damages arising out of an entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes and/or acceptance or use or misuse of any prize. No transfer or substitution of prize is permitted except by Sponsor. Winner is responsible for any and all federal, state and local taxes.
If for any reason the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure or other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify and/or suspend the Sweepstakes and to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, violates these official rules, or acts in a disruptive manner. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website involved in the Sweepstakes or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and/or civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages, including attorneys’ fees, from any such entrant to the fullest extent of the law, including criminal prosecution. No responsibility is assumed for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alteration of entries; or any problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone network or lines, typographical or other errors, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or electronic entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or on any website or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer related to, or resulting from, participation in or downloading any materials from this Sweepstakes. By participating in this Sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by these official rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and the judges, which shall be final in all respects. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the Sweepstakes, or in the announcement of the prizes. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it determines to be tampering with the entry mechanism, to be violating these Official Rules or to be acting in a disruptive manner.
HOLD HARMLESS. Sweepstakes provided “as is”. Winners and entrants agree that the Sweepstakes Entities shall not be responsible or liable for, and each winner and entrant agrees to release and hold harmless the Sweepstakes Entities from losses, damages, or injuries of any kind to person, including personal injury or death, or property resulting from participating in the Sweepstakes or Sweepstakes-related activity, including , but not limited to, the acceptance/possession and/or use or misuse of any prize or any injury or damage to entrant’s or third person’s property related to or resulting from any prize or any part of the Sweepstakes. By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants agree that the Sweepstakes Entities will have no liability whatsoever for, and that entrant shall hold the Sweepstakes Entities harmless against, any liability for any claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy as well as injuries, damages, or losses of any kind, whether or not foreseeable, including, without limitation, direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages to persons or to property arising out of the prize or any trip awarded hereunder.
Without limiting the foregoing, everything regarding the Sweepstakes, including any websites used in connection therewith and any prize awarded hereunder, are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, all of which are expressly disclaimed by the Sweepstakes Entities.

Requests received after December 31, 2015 will not be honored. For a list of the names of the winners, available after January 5, 2016, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: “Fontana Candida Experience Rome” Sweepstakes Winner’s List, 1111 Cedar Swamp Rd, Old Brookville, NY 11545. VT residents may omit return postage. Requests received after February 1, 2016 will not be honored.
