This week, in support of our local music scene, the all-new Peugeot 208 checks out the super- talented local singer-songwriter Tay Kewei! Tay, who kickstarted her career as a backing vocalist for Mandopop stars including Wang Leehom, JJ Lin and David Tao has written and sung some of our favourite local tunes such as ‘Fallin’’ and ‘Lay Down’, which were released in 2012. She has even recorded English and Japanese covers of famous artists such as Adele, Kanye West and Koji Tamaki.
Next week, get ready to experience Tay Kewei’s music journey over the past 7 years as she performs with a full 6-piece band, with special guests Alfred Sim and Bonnie Loo. We’re especially excited to catch her performance of songs from her last release, Turn Back & Smile (2014) which incorporates the use of traditional Chinese music instruments.
