Terms and Conditions
1.0 Eligibility
1.1 The “F&N Fun Flavours Chinese New Year Giveaway” (the “Giveaway”) is open to all Malaysian citizens and residents of Malaysia age 13 and above (as of January 2016) except employees and immediate family members of F&N Beverages Marketing Sdn. Bhd. (the “Organizer”), their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising/PR agencies and suppliers.
1.2 The Giveaway Period will run from 21st January 2016 – 14th February 2016 (the “Giveaway Period”). The Organizer reserves the absolute right to shorten or extend the Giveaway Period if deemed necessary without the need to provide prior notice.
2.0 How to Participate
2.1 Find 3 (THREE) friends with “Ong” in any part of their names.
2.2 Post a picture of you and your “Ong” friends and family enjoying any F&N range of flavours (F&N Orange, F&N Grape, F&N Strawberry, F&N Zapple, F&N Fruitade, F&N Ice Cream Soda, F&N Sarsi, F&N Citrus and/or F&N Pineapple) on F&N Fun Flavours Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/FnNFunMalaysia)
2.3 Tag your “Ong” friends/family in the picture on Facebook after posting on the F&N Fun Flavours’ Facebook page.
3.0 Requirements
3.1 Participants will need the following to participate in the Giveaway:
i. An authentic Facebook account to submit entries.
ii. Must be a Facebook fan of F&N Fun Flavours Malaysia (https://www.facebook.com/FnNFunMalaysia)
iii. The participants themselves do not need to be an “Ong” as long as other Ongs are in the picture.
iv. A minimum of 3 “Ongs” and its variations, inclusive of the participant needs to be tagged in the photo. If the participant is not an “Ong”, there needs to be at least 3 other people who have an “Ong” or a variation of “Ong” in their name. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any entry should the tags be removed prior to the Giveaway Period.
v. Presence of any F&N Fun Flavour range listed in Clause 2.2 is needed in the picture.
4.0 Judging criteria
4.1 The Giveaway Winners will be chosen daily on a first come first serve basis throughout the Giveaway Period.
4.2 On the selection of the winners, the Organizer’s decision is final and binding and no further correspondence or appeal will be entertained.
5.0 The Prizes
5.1 There are a total of two hundred (200) Astro “Ho Yeah” monkey plush toys that will be awarded from 21st January 2016 – 14th February 2016.
5.2 A minimum of 8 Prizes will be given away daily
5.3 Each selected participant is entitled to only ONE (1) plush toy.
6.0 Other Details
6.1 Eligible participants will be asked via commenting the participant’s submission postings to Private Message (PM) their Name, IC number, mailing address, mobile number and email address for verification.
6.2 Eligible participants are to revert with their personal details within 5 working days for verification and prize redemption, failing which the prizes will be forfeited and no further claims will be entertained. “Working days” shall mean any day other than a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday in Selangor.
6.3 Participants are only declared winners upon verification of their details. The winners will be notified via Facebook Private Message within 48 hours by the Organizer upon successful verification of their details.
6.4 The Organizer shall endeavor to contact the winners via Facebook Private Message on a best effort basis with a maximum of three (3) attempts.
6.5 Prizes will be delivered to winners via postage. Proof of postage is not proof of receipt. The Organizer will not be held responsible for any lost, late or misdirected mail, emails, or faxes. Fulfilment of prizes could take up to 4-6 weeks after the end of contest period (14th February 2016).
7.0 Rights of the Organizer
7.1 All decisions made by the Organizer in relation to this Giveaway including but not limited to the selection of winners and forfeiture of Giveaway Prizes (if any) shall be final, conclusive and binding. No correspondence or appeals will be entertained. The selection of the winners shall be in accordance to the Participants’ satisfaction of the Giveaway entry criteria and determined at the Organizer’s sole and absolute discretion.
7.2 The Organizer reserves the right to substitute any one of the prize(s) with items of equivalent value at any time without prior notice. All prizes are not transferable, non-refundable and non-exchangeable for cash and will only be presented to winners who are able to satisfy the Organizer’s prize claiming requirements as set out herein.
7.3 The Organizer will not be held liable in the event of non-receipt or delayed delivery of any form of notification to the participants. All costs incidental to the participant’s participation in the Giveaway and redemption and/or usage of the prizes shall be solely borne by the winners.
7.4 The Organizer reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any Participant that is found or suspected of tampering with the Giveaway mechanics, the operation of this Giveaway or to be in violation of the Terms and Conditions hereof.
7.5 The Organizer, its affiliates, subsidiaries, promoters and agents shall not be liable in any way for the following: a) any additional expenses incurred by participants for taking part in the Giveaway; b) any sort of technical failure; c) intervention by unauthorised parties during the Giveaway; d) electronic or human errors in the administration of the Giveaway and processing of entries; e) any data entry that is lost, stolen, damaged, wrongly delivered or not received which is not due to the negligence or willful default of the Organizer.
7.6 All participants unconditionally agree to assume full liability and responsibility to the extent permitted by law in the event of any loss, mishap, injury, damage, claim, or accidents (including death) suffered as a result of or arising from their participation in this Giveaway, redemption and/or utilization of the prizes and/or F&N products. It is the participant’s responsibility to obtain the consent from the people tagged in the photograph and shall indemnify the Organizer against any claims by third parties or losses suffered by the Organizer with regard to the participant’s entry submission including, but not limited to the publication or sharing of the submitted photograph.
7.7 The Organizer reserves the right to change, cancel, terminate or suspend the Giveaway at any time for the duration of the Giveaway Period without prior notice. For the avoidance of doubt, cancellation, termination or suspension by the Organizer of the Giveaway shall not entitle the participants to any claim or compensation against the Organizer for any or all loss or damage suffered or costs and expenses incurred by the participant either directly and/or indirectly arising from or in connection with the cancellation, termination or suspension of the Giveaway by the Organizer.
7.8 By participating in this Giveaway, participants are taken to have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, and accept that all decisions by the Organizer are final and binding. The Organizer reserves the right to change, amend, add or delete any of these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice to the participants and the participants agree to be bound by such changes.
7.9 The Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. All information provided is solely provided to F&N, and not to Facebook.
