The New Year is on the horizon and we want to start it off by helping a new Malaysian entrepreneur equip his or her office with TWO Philips Monitors! But it won’t just be any monitor! We will give the winner monitors that perfectly suit the requirements of their industry and business. This is to help them be the best they can be!

Terms & Conditions
1. The “Philips Monitors Malaysian Startup Giveaway” Contest (the “Contest”) is open to all Malaysians, except employees and immediate family members of MMD Singapore Pte Ltd (the “Organizer”), their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising/PR agencies and suppliers.
2. Participants must be at least 21 years old (from now on “THE PARTICIPANT”) and reside in Malaysia.
3. This Contest will run from 00:00 26 December 2016 to 23:59 9 January 2017 (according to Malaysian local time) (“Contest Period”). The Organizer reserves the right to change, postpone, reschedule or extend the Contest Period at any time.
4. In order to be eligible to win the prize, the participant’s business must be newly set up, having operated for no more than 1 year and be operated in an office (not home based). The Organizer may request for relevant documents to be submitted for verification.
5. The winner’s prize will be TWO units of Philips Monitors. In order to give the winner our full support, we will present them with monitors that best suit their needs and industry.
Qualifying Criteria
1.The participant with the most engaging, creative or inspiring startup story will be chosen as the winner by our panel of judges. The story can be written in Malay, English, Chinese or the participant’s preferred language.
2.The winner will be announced on the Philips Monitors Malaysia Facebook Pages on 13 January 2017.
3. We will also notify the winner via Facebook PM and the winner are required to send in the following personal details and other relevant documents stated for verification: a. Full Name b. Identity Card Number c. Phone Number d. Mailing/ Office Address
4. If the winner fails to send in details by 20 January 2017, the Organizer is entitled to disqualify the winner.
5. The winner agrees to the following use of his/her name and image in any publicity material without any monetary compensation:
a) Appear in Facebook live video when the prize is delivered to their office
b) A blog post content regarding the winner’s start up story / images / videos
6. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
7. Participants may not use more than one Facebook account to participate and may use either their personal or Business Facebook account to enter the Contest. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any participant who does not reside in Malaysia and where there is reasonable suspicion of a breach of the foregoing rules. In any case of disqualification, a replacement winner will be selected.
8. The Organizer reserves the right to substitute the Prize with other items of similar value without prior notice.
9. The Prize is not transferable and not redeemable for cash, and must be accepted as offered.
10. The Organizer will not be responsible for any damaged or delayed packages.
11. By participating in this Contest, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
12. All decisions by the Organizer are final and binding and no further correspondence will be entertained.
13. The Organizer, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to modify this Terms and Conditions without any prior notice.
