Eligibility:

1. This Promotion is open to all members of the Smiles Driver Rewards Programme (“Smiles”) except Esso Fleet cardholders, employees of ExxonMobil Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. (“EMAPPL”) and its affiliates, EMAPPL’s advertising agencies and sales promotion agencies.

Promotion Period:

2. The Promotion period shall be from 17 April – 4 June 2015.

Mechanics:

3. Every $50 nett (after discount) spent on Synergy petrol in a single receipt with a valid Smiles card or a Smiles-linked credit card / Speedpass at any Esso service station in Singapore during the Promotion period will qualify the Smiles member for one (1) lucky draw entry. (A “Smiles-linked credit card” refers to a credit card which is linked to a Smiles Driver Rewards account). A valid Smiles card must be swiped at the point of purchase to record the purchase or a valid Smiles-linked credit card / Speedpass used for payment of the purchase.
4. If the Smiles card is not swiped at the point of purchase or if a Smiles-linked credit card / Speedpass is not used for payment of the purchase, no lucky draw chances will be allocated.
5. This Promotion is only applicable to purchases of Synergy petrol (i.e. Synergy 8000, Synergy 5000 and Synergy 2000). Non-Synergy petrol spending will not be considered in the allocation of lucky draw chances in this Promotion.
6. No contest forms are required. Entries will be automatically recorded when a valid Smiles card is swiped at the time of purchase or a valid Smiles-linked credit card / Speedpass used for payment of the purchase.
7. The lucky draw will be conducted after the end of the Promotion period and a total of 55 winners will be drawn. All winners will be selected via an electronic selection system. There is no limit on the number of times that an individual may be picked as a prize winner.
8. The date and timing of the draw is Friday, 12 June 2015, 10:30am. The results of the draw will be published in the TODAY newspaper on 22 June 2015, and may be used in other promotional or publicity materials (whether printed, electronic, or otherwise) by EMAPPL and/or its appointed contractors as they reasonably deem fit. All winners are deemed to have consented to such publication and use. Award of all prizes in this Promotion are conditional upon such consent, and any winner who does not so consent (upon notification by EMAPPL and/or its appointed contractors via telephone that he/she is a winner pursuant to Clause 9 below) shall have his/her prize(s) forfeited and EMAPPL shall have the right to award these prize(s) to the next eligible winner (using the same process of selecting winners).
9. The winners will be contacted by EMAPPL and/or its appointed contractors via telephone using the telephone numbers available in the Smiles database unless the winner has registered his/her telephone number with the Do-Not-Call (DNC) Registry or had previously unsubscribed from receiving marketing / promotional materials from EMAPPL (replacement winners will be selected for winners who have registered their telephone numbers with the DNC Registry or who had previously unsubscribed from receiving marketing / promotional materials from EMAPPL). In the event that EMAPPL and/or its appointed contractors is/are unable to contact any winner for any reason through this first phonecall, EMAPPL and/or its appointed contractors will make a further two (2) attempts to contact the winner during office hours (9.00am – 6.00pm) of the same day that the first call was made. In the event that all such attempts are unsuccessful, EMAPPL reserves the right to select the next eligible winner (using the same process of selecting winners).
10. If any prize is unclaimed by 31 July 2015 at 5:00pm, the prize will be dealt with at EMAPPL’s sole discretion.
11. EMAPPL’s decisions on all matters relating to this Promotion (including the selection of winners via the electronic selection system) shall be final and binding. EMAPPL will not enter into any correspondence or communication with any party in relation to such decisions.

Prizes:

12. There will be a total of fifty-five (55) winners. Five (5) grand prize winners will each win 200,000 Smiles points and fifty (50) secondary prize winners will each win 20,000 Smiles Points. Smiles Points will be credited to the winners’ respective Smiles Driver Rewards accounts within six (6) weeks from the date of publication of the winners’ names in the TODAY newspaper.
13. All prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Other Terms and Conditions:

14. EMAPPL shall not be responsible or liable for any claim, loss or damage whatsoever arising out of or in connection with the Promotion or the prizes awarded during the Promotion.

17. The terms and conditions for this Promotion may be revised from time to time at EMAPPL’s sole discretion without prior notice.
