Round up all your friends or family, strike a pose against your favourite balloon display at Northpoint then snap yourself an unforgettable ‘Usie’.

Once you have the perfect picture, upload your photo via the ‘Snap-tastic!’ app on the Northpoint Facebook page and tell us what you love most about Northpoint.

Prefer Instagram? You can also share your photo using the hashtag #npsnaptastic – but don’t forget to set your account to public!

The top 5 most creative photos will each win a $200 Northpoint Gift Card, and 10 consolation prize winners taking home a $50 Northpoint Gift Card each!

The Northpoint balloon display will be open for snaps from 9 to 18 October 2015 at Atrium Level 1 from 12pm to 9pm..

All entry submissions close on 25 October 2015 at 11.59pm and all 15 winners will be announced on 30 October 2015, so get snapping now and have a snap-tastic fun time!!

Terms & Conditions:

  1. The contest described in this document (“Contest”) is organised and promoted by HSBC Institutional Trust Services (S) Limited as trustee of Frasers Centrepoint Trust (“Northpoint”).
  2. By participating in the Contest, participants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of the Contest (“Terms”) which at the date of publication are set out below. Northpoint reserves the right to change the Terms (including the dates of the Contest and the prizes or their value) at its sole discretion without prior notice.
  3. Except as other specified in these Terms, Northpoint’s decision on all matters relating to the Contest is final, conclusive and binding on all participants and no correspondence will be entertained.
  4. Participation in this contest is open to all citizens and residents of Singapore with a valid Singapore mailing address and is above thirteen (13) years of age as of 1 Jan 2015, except employees of HSBC Institutional Trust Services, its subsidiaries, public relations and advertising agencies and tenants of Northpoint; and immediate families of such employees. Immediate family members include spouses, children, parents, parents-in-law and siblings. No third party entries, bulk entries or entries submitted by agents will be accepted.
  5. The contest is “Snap-tastic! The Fun Photo Contest” and the “contest period” is from 9 – 25 October 2015. Winners will be announced on 30 October 2015.
  6. Prizes are as follows:
    • Five (5) winners with the most creative photos will each win $200 Northpoint Gift Card.
    • Ten (10) consolation prize winners will each win $50 Northpoint Gift Card.
  7. To qualify for the contest:
    • Photos must be taken against any balloon display at Northpoint, Atrium, Level 1 from 9 October – 18 October 2015.
    • The entry must be submitted from 9 October – 25 October 2015.
    • All entries must be submitted by 11.59pm on 25 October 2015. The official time is Singapore Facebook time. Any entry posted after the cut-off time will not be considered.
    • Participants must be over 13 years of age at 1 Jan 2015 and must have a valid Facebook account.
    • Entry by a participant must submit his/her photo and tell us what they love about Northpoint.
    • Participants can also submit their entries via Instagram with hashtag “#npsnaptastic”. Instagram account must be set to ‘Public’ in order to qualify in the contest.
    • Only one (1) entry is allowed per participant, per household. In the event that one participant or one household submitted two or more entries, only one entry will be selected and uploaded upon the discretion of Northpoint.
  8. Northpoint will select five (5) top and ten (10) consolation entries with the most creative photos and writeup.
  9. All valid entries received during the Submission Period will be judged by the Northpoint based on their relevance to the theme, their originality and creativity and whether the entry complies with these terms and conditions.
  10. Northpoint reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries and to disqualify any entrant:
    • Who tampers with the submission process;
    • Who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions;
    • Who has, in the opinion of Northpoint, engaged in any unlawful or other improper conduct which jeopardises, or may jeopardise, the fair and proper conduct of the competition; and/or who has engaged in conduct in entering the competition which is unlawful, fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the competition and/or Northpoint.
    • Northpoint’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such disqualified persons are reserved.
  11. For avoidance of doubt, the eligibility of all entries would subject to Northpoint’s decision which shall be final.
  12. Participants warrant and agree that their Entry Content (in whole or in part):
    • Have not been published previously;
    • Do not and will not infringe any third party rights (including intellectual property rights or rights of privacy, publicity or confidentiality);
    • Are not unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, obscene, profane, derogatory, pornographic, sexually inappropriate, politically incorrect, violent, abusive, insulting, scandalous, inflammatory, harassing, threatening, racist, ageist, sexist, objectionable with respect to religion, origin or gender, not suitable for children under 15, or otherwise unsuitable for publication or objectionable; will not contain viruses or cause injury or harm to any person or entity.Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for HSBC Institutional Trust Services to use the winner’s name and/or likeness, and their submitted photo for advertising purposes without further notice or compensation, unless prohibited by law.
  13. Northpoint is not responsible for any human, technical or other error that may occur in the processing of the entries, nor responsible for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alternation of, entries nor for any technical, network, telephone, computer, hardware or software, malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of, or failure to receive any entry information on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or any web site(s).
  14. All winners will be determined by Management of Northpoint (whose decision shall be final). The winners will be announced on Northpoint Facebook Page ( on 30 October 2015. Winners will be notified by an official representative from Northpoint on details for prize collection.
  15. Winners must present personally with their NRIC/FIN identification card for verification upon collection of prizes.  No extension of collection date or Gift Cards expiry date is allowed for any Gift Cards issued.
  16. Northpoint’s Management also reserves the right to amend the list of winners should the original winners be uncontactable after three attempts to establish contact via phone, email and/or Facebook. If any prize is unclaimed or declined within a reasonable period, the prize shall be deemed as unclaimed or unaccepted and will be forfeited.
  17. Prizes are not transferrable and not redeemable for cash, credit or otherwise. Northpoint’s Management reserves the rights to substitute any, or all, of the prizes to be awarded to the winners of the contest without prior notice.
  18. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Northpoint reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to revise the rules of the contest, or revise or cancel the contest at any time, or to modify, terminate, or suspend the contest should unauthorized human intervention or other causes beyond Northpoint’s control corrupt or impair the administration, security and fairness of the entries.
  19. Northpoint reserves the right to suspend, cancel or amend the promotion and/or review and revise these terms and conditions at any time without giving prior notice. By continuing to take part in the contest subsequent to any revision of these terms and conditions, each participant shall be deemed to have agreed to any such new or amended terms.
  20. In the event of any dispute, all decisions made by the Northpoint will be final and no correspondence will be entertained.
  21. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook and/ or Instagram. You understand that you are providing your information to Northpoint and not to Facebook and/ or Instagram.
